Flavours from our homeland, Inuit Nunangat

Ottawa’s premiere event A Taste of the Arctic returns as Tapiriit.
Tapiriit means united in our language, Inuktut.
Join us for an intimate celebration of Inuit culture and the traditions that unite us.

Atii! Let’s go!

Tapiriit celebrates the best of Inuit culture, uniting us through a culinary journey of Inuit country food.

Join President Natan Obed on May 13, 2025, at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for a special event with leaders shaping Canada’s future.

This year brings Inuit country food favourites guided by Malaya Qaunirq Chapman with the NAC kitchen and performances by Inuit artists, including Juno award winner Elisapie
