Inuit assembly sets goals for Arctic peace, stability and sovereignty

To conclude the Inuit Circumpolar Council’s general assembly in Iqaluit , leaders from Canada, Greenland, Alaska and Russia agreed to focus its advocacy on demanding peace and stability in the Arctic as well as protecting their way of life and sovereignty. Aluki Kotierk was also acclaimed chair to lead the ICC on the world stage.
