Inuit Nunangat University has a plan, it has money; it just needs to decide where to build its main campus. Any community in Inuit Nunangat, the Inuit homeland, can apply.
That includes communities in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region. Riley Winters is a Policy Advisor at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. She is part of the team leading the university project and she spoke to CBC’s The Trailbreaker host Hilary Bird to tell her more.
