Inuit families travel south to honour loved ones who died at TB sanatoriums

A group of Inuit families made a rare trip to Quebec City to honour loved ones who died in the 1940s and ’70s while receiving tuberculosis treatment.

Most were forced into sanatoriums where they were cut off from their families and culture.
